Deena Pantalone
Founder & Managing Partner
As a Founder and Managing Partner at Venturon LP., Deena Pantalone invests in start-up companies in North America that provide new products, services and technologies in the real estate industry. She offers consulting and advisory services to technology start-ups, delivering an experienced outside perspective and constructive feedback to build on ideas. Her mentorship inspires entrepreneurs to drive productivity and achieve ambitious goals.
In her role as CMO and Managing Partner at National Homes, she is responsible for sales, marketing and operations with a focus on residential communities, custom homes, commercial and land development and luxury retirement residences. She also plans and directs all marketing, sales and public relations activities for National’s communities throughout the GTA.
Her educational background includes studies in Urban Planning at the University of Toronto and Real Estate Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Philanthropic contributions include serving as Chair at Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario, Chair at St. John’s Rehab Foundation, Committee Member at Best Buddies Canada, Sponsor at Habitat for Humanity Canada, Sponsor at Sick Kids Hospital, and Alumnae Executive Board at Branksome Hall.
Joanna Creed
Director of Operations and General Counsel
Joanna is the Director of Operations & General Counsel at Venturon LP. Joanna is an entrepreneur and manager with broad and diverse experience in operations, finance and law. She is a hands-on, roll-up the sleeves "doer" who has coordinated interdisciplinary teams and has developed and implemented operational systems at a variety of business. Joanna manages Venturon’s investment activities and works closely with portfolio companies to move their businesses forward.
Prior to joining the Venturonteam, Joanna was a co-founder of Pivot.IO, a SaaS platform in the dry-cleaning and laundry industry space. As co-founder of Pivot she managed all facets of the business – from fundraising to HR, sales and operational matters. Joanna gained legal experience during her time at Goodmans LLP, a top law firm in Canada. Joanna has advised on a wide scope of corporate/commercial and securities matters, including: equity and debt financing; secured debt transactions; corporate finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions (both public and private).
Joanna has a law degree from Queen Mary, University of London (where she graduated top of her class) and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Great Distinction) from McGill University.

A strategic marketing professional with over 25 years experience across all facets of real estate including high rise, low rise, resort, retirement, commercial and multi-family leasing. Currently provides marketing services for 50 builders across North America and the Caribbean. Veteran of over 1000 real estate projects.
